Indicators of Success

NWES Guiding Indicators of Student Success

Student success takes many different forms at Northern Waters. Students are expected to be partner’s in their learning and have the opportunity to collaborate with their learning team to develop a personalized learning plan that meets their needs and addresses their goals. Emphasis is not only placed on mastery and application of academic concepts as they relate to our environment, but also on personal and academic growth.

NWES students…

- (high school)  drivers of their learning path

  •  develop skills and understandings that can be applied to integrated, real-world situations
  •  gain a sense of purpose through genuine contributions to our learning communities

- teamwork, leadership, and collaboration

  •  value our environment and enjoy learning outdoors
