Hello Hayward Community School District Families:
All of the snow and cold has us looking ahead to warmer days! Our staff and buildings are busily preparing for another exciting summer school. The Building Project will kick-off on June 3rd! Summer School will still take place, but it will look a lot different than past years. We ask for your flexibility, as the Primary and High Schools will be closed for construction. We can’t promise where students will be housed at this point, but we will have a plan prior to June 6th!
Our summer school program will run from June 6 - June 22, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Week 1 - June 6-8 -Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Week 2 - June 12-15 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Week 3 - June 19-22 - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Breakfast and lunch will be offered and transportation will be provided free of charge.
Students enrolling in Canes Camp kindergarten through 8th grade will be scheduled for all course offerings, High School students will have credit recovery on an as needed basis. If you feel your child needs credit recovery, please contact the High School office.

To enroll your student please complete the registration survey by March 15, 2023.
Due to the limited facility space, registration will NOT be accepted after March 15, 2023.
Our staff is very eager to welcome your student to Canes Camp 2023.
